About Me
Hi, I'm Amy!
I am a Holistic Counsellor and Coach, Reiki Master and Energy Healer working out of Quinte West, Ontario.
I initially graduated from a Fitness and Health Promotion program in 2007, having always had a passion for self growth and personal development, whether it be on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level. I believe we learn the most about ourselves when we challenge the limits of what we think is possible for us.
I relocated to Toronto in the Spring of 2007 and began working as a Fitness Centre Manager, Fitness Consultant and Personal Trainer over a 6 year span within the private club industry. It was here that I discovered my passion for deep listening and began to expand my studies.
I earned my diploma in Psychotherapy in 2013 after a 3 year in-class training program, followed by a 3 year internship. During this time, I also became a Mother to two incredible daughters.
After having my life turned upside down by a divorce, I was presented with an opportunity to completely rebuild my life. I began studying Usui Reiki in the Fall of 2019, and received my Master's training in the Spring of 2021. I continue to evolve myself and my skill set through various energetic teachings and consistent professional development as an Advanced Holistic Coach™ to better serve by empowering clients to experience reverence for themselves intuitively, mentally. emotionally, spiritually and physically.
I specialize in working individually or with small groups to empower clients in enhancing their quality of life, fostering healthier responses to trauma, and uncovering and integrating hidden aspects of themselves for personal growth and transformation
My natural affinity for empathy, combined with my sensitivity to the subtle changes in body language and energy, has been sharpened through my studies in Psychotherapy, Holistic Coaching™, Trauma Informed Training though the Community Resilience Initiative, Reiki, Healing Touch through the Healing Touch Association of Canada, and other energy work modalities. These skills continue to be developed and refined, as I fully subscribe to the ideology of "practice what you preach"!
I feel it is a great honour to be invited to witness and hold space for anyone willing to embark on the journey of knowing thyself.
